Two Years in Russia!

Our middle son, Spencer, is home after spending the last 2 years serving a Latter-day Saint mission in the Russia Vladivostok Mission. He served in the Siberian cities of Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude which border Lake Baikal (the largest fresh water lake in the world). He said the weather got down to -60 during the winter that he was there. He also served in Vladivostok and Khabarosvk. He had many adventures to share with us and we have enjoyed hearing about the culture there and the people who he grew to love.

We are so grateful for his desire to serve the Lord in this manner. It teaches these young men and women how to face adversity and push through trials having faith in their Savior and Heavenly Father. We are so glad he is home!
